Helpful following vitrectomy surgery.
“Suzanne at Just Tables provided a very prompt and efficient response in supplying a macular surgery recovery unit at top speed for my immediate use following a vitrectomy.

The unit was absolutely perfect in enabling me to respond much more comfortably and conscientiously to the demands of a very difficult 5 days of face down torment.   It provided a range of adjustment possibilities, was well made and robust and frankly I just don’t know what I would have done without it.

Hi Suzanne

Yes – Richard received a very positive report from the surgeon on Tuesday – no doubt in part due to the fact that he was able to maintain the facedown position so conscientiously

Model - Macular Eye Surgery Recovery Equipment (vitrectomy  surgery)

Includes soft washable face hole cushion for more comfort.
Macular hole eye surgery is a challenging operation to recover from, requiring the patient to be in a face-down position for days.   The unit that we have available can assist with what is required to recover from this eye operation.  The unit can be used on a desk or table and on a bed.  See photos and explanation below.  Firstly we have had some customer feedback about the macular hole eye surgery unit.

The Macular Eye Surgery Recovery Unit can be used on a desktop or a table.
NB: You can't watch the computer in this position.
It helps to have an adjustable chair to get the exact height needed.
The unit is not clamped on, your body weight keeps it in position.

The Macular Eye Surgery Recovery Unit can be placed at the end of the bed, while the arms are supported underneath.  Your own body weight supports it in position.

Customer feedback.
Hi Suzanne
I recently purchased a table top massage thing for my dad in Kapiti, as he was having macular hole surgery. I am pleased to let you know that we have come through the other side now and your device was brilliant. It worked really well and gave him different options for positioning during the day and at night. We tried all the combinations possible and whilst it was not an easy 5 days, it would have been a nightmare if we didn't have this device to help him.

Many thanks
Deborah Woodham

This person hired a massage table from us and bought a macular surgery recovery unit.

Hi Suzanne

I called in tonight and my father-in-law is alternating using a massage table and the recovery equipment and says it’s a great relief being able to sit up and have a break after lying down, so he’s very happy with it thank you.

Warm regards
Sarah

Hi Suzanne and Graeme
 Hire a Massage Table
Firstly I would like to say how pleased I was to have been able to hire a table to use as recovery for my macular operation. I couldn’t have managed without it. I even propped a mirror up against the end of the table and then positioned another mirror below leaning against a box so it was angled and that enabled me to watch television with my head still facing down. I wish I had taken a photo of the set up so that you could suggest it to any other macular operation recovery people to help pass the time during a very boring and inconvenient time.

Best regards

Marion Kelly
